Frank Koehl

Frank Koehl has over 20 years of multidisciplinary experience as an engineer, entrepreneur, and technology executive. Starting in network and systems administration, he picked up software development and became a full stack engineer. He often wore both hats simultaneously, designing and building software deployed to infrastructure he likewise provisioned and managed.

Frank’s experience traverses startups, SMB’s, and enterprise environments, acting in contributor, consultant manager, and executive roles. Frank has designed, built, and delivered 12 separate software products — from ideation through launch and into long term support. He founded two startups, built a $10M Engineering Department from scratch, and successfully completed three acquisitions.

Frank runs a weekly podcast with a colleague called Refactored (refactored.work), discussing the intersection of business and technology. He blogs about the same topics at www.hotkoehls.com.

Frank currently serves as the VP of Product Development for Trinity Cyber, a cybersecurity company based in Bowie, MD.
