The Value of Threat Intelligence

With the increased complexity of targeted campaigns by Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors, system crippling Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, and even everyday phishing; organizations, businesses, governments, and everyone else in between, all face a multitude of threats in today’s dynamically connected world.

Security analysts from the Financial Services – Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) and the Global Resilience Federation (GRF) will present on how the various information sharing communities assist the domestic and global critical sectors (financial services, legal services, oil and gas, energy, etc.) with security awareness. Through the discussion of use-cases, security analysts will detail how members of these information sharing communities contribute to the goal of strengthening their sector’s security posture. Additionally, we will share open source tools, tips, and tricks that we ourselves utilize in our everyday operations while explaining how anyone can utilize these tools to improve their own security.

How can you operationalize threat intelligence and utilize the available tools? How can you gain the advantage and protect yourself and/or your organization? Come find out!
